Nadya Fitri Affifa's Portfolio


I recently finished the course CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) at the Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya in Surabaya. This portofolio shows what I’ve worked on in the last few months, my podcast, virtual integrated video, and other creative projects! Here I wanna share to you and you also may share yours in the comment!

1. Technology in Education : Animation Video



This was my first assignment in this course and I got an animation video. I made a description video about educational technology through animaker.com and it was quite complicated because I needed a strong connection also a strong laptop because it was often getting error. However I enjoy the process and this project should be uploaded in youtube platform and I have already uploaded it. 

2. The History of CALL : Timeline



This was my second assignment, in this assignment I made a timeline about the history of CALL through Canva. Canva is an editing application but it is easy to use and it has a lot of fitur in it.


3. Online Resources for EFL Teachers : Online Mind Map

In this assignment, I should make an online mind mapping. There a several website that facilitate us to make an online mind map and I choose to use Coogle. It is because, through coogle we an make an online mind mapping in a group and the result can be shared in a form of link. Very intereting to be tried!


4. Blogs for Teaching : Blogspot


Yap, I made a blog, my first blog! I used blogspot.com in making my blog account, because I think this website was the easiest blog website for a new blogger.


5. Webquest : Vocabulary Webquest


Do you ever know what is webquest? So, webquest is a specially designed web which is intended for learning activity which is build around
  the web search activity. It has a generic structure for a webquest site, such as : Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion. I made this webquest in zunal site.

6. Technology and The Teaching of Reading : Online Comic and Hot Potatoes

I and my group made an online comic through website so that we could do it together.


While, this is Hot Potatoes. Hot Potatoes is an easy to use authoring tools that can be used to create different web-based learning activities. In this case, I and my friends made a cloze reading activity because in this week we should made a tools to teach reading with technology.

6. Technology-Assisted Writing Activities : Collaborative Writing Video


In this assignment, I and my group made a new google docs and it can be edited by public, so everyone who have the link and open it, they may edit or write on the google docs. Then, we wrote there and record it with a screen recorder application on my laptop

7. Teaching Speaking : Online Video Conference


This is my project that my group made it by having a discussion through google meet which is a platform for having an online video conference.


8. Teaching Listening : Make a Podcast


This assignment is similar with the previous assignment I think, but the differences place in their form. This assignment was in the form of audio but the previous assignment was in the form of video. Furthermore, the topic that I and my group discussed also different. We uploaded our podcast on soundcloud.

9. Lesson Planning : Online LessonPlan

I and my friends make a online lesson plan through one of website that my lecturer attach on the material and we only needed to fill the column and then submit it. Your lesson plan are already to be used.

10. Class-Management : Classroom Management

I created a google docs and I share my point of view about how I manage my classroom by choosing the teaching tools and gave my reason.

11. Self-Directed Professional Development : Self-Directed Professional Development Example

 

In this moment, I should find and join TEFL/TESOL community on social media and share my idea or ask or leave a comment on the post. This assignment aimed to share our idea about TESOL/TEFL with the community.

Hey! So glad you're here ✨ M y name is Nadya Affifa and people go by Dea. Iam currently a college student  at state Islamic university in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. I'm from the Department of English and Education in the fourth semester.
