I have been passing this online classes for a year and half, today I will share with you my daily journal when I’m in online class which is CALL subject. Enjoy it!
Meeting 1: Online Learning Strategies
In my first meeting, I and my class had a virtual meetings through Google Meet with the lecturer. During the meeting, the lecturer tell us how the learning and teaching process will be done, the rule during the class and several question from the students if the wanted to ask the lecturer. After that, the class was continuing in Google Classroom. There, the lecturer provided several column which is presence, discussion column, the material and quiz. Then, the activities that I should do in google classroom were, introduced myself, red the material, watched the video, did the quiz, and filled the presence.That was interesting because it was my first meeting in this courses.
Meeting 2: Technology in Education
In the second meeting of this course I learned about technology in education. Same like the first meeting, in this meeting I needed to fill the attendance, red the material in google document, watched the video and took a note if there were several important information in it. Then, I did the task which was sharing opinion about technology in education, its strength and weaknesses also I needed to provide the resources as the references. Then, I did the assignment which asked me to make an animation video. For your information, I really like to do video editing even it is time consuming but I enjoy it, so I was not feeling tired when I did the assignment.That's all my daily journal during CALL courses, I felt gratefull that I can passed this course and choose this class. However, it was a new experience for me to pass the course over google classroom and twice online meeting. Meeting 3: The History of CALL
In this third meeting I learned about
the history of CALL. Knowing the history of CALL was important because I was
taking the CALL course and actually I did not know what CALL was. However, after
I learned the history I have already known what CALL course was. On the other
hand, in this meeting I also learned about several engineers to make a timeline
but I found it difficult, so I decided to make the timeline with the engineer
that I used to use it. It is because the assignment for this meeting was making
a timeline about the history of CALL.

4: Online Resources for EFL Teachers
In this meeting, I learned about using
search engines and it really gave me a lot of new knowledge about it. Then, we
are required to make an online mind map with our group. There were several tools
that the lecturer provided in the google docs but the easiest one was coogle,
so I and my friends decided to choose it. The procedure is the same as google
docs I think, because I only need to log in my email account then make a new
mind map, invite our group to work it together and work it together. After we finished
it, we only needed to share the mind map by copying the link, but make sure
that you have made it as a public mind map.

5: Blogs for Teaching
So, yap in this meeting I needed to create
my own blog, and choose blogger to set up my blog because it is the simplest
one. Even though, I actually already created blog with other tools but it
seemed complicated and I changed my mind to use blogger. Anyways, I wanna decorate
my blog and make it as neat as possible, but did not find the way to makes it
and I think the way was by coding it, meanwhile I cannot and never learned
about it. Thus, I only make it so simple😢 Or maybe you who able to do it and want to share your knowledge to me please kindly leave a comment and I will leave my respon!
Meeting 6: Webquest
At the first time I red the topic I
only wondering what was it? Then, I red the google docs also watched the video
and I understood it. However, in this meeting I should do two things, the first
one I needed to do the quiz about webquest in a form of google form, then I
needed to finished the assignment which I must make a webquest with my group.
At the first time I try to open the link, it can’t and error. Then, I asked my
friend and they said they were able to open it. Thus, I assumed that to open
the link we needed a very strong connection and this was what hinders our group
work. Thus this meeting really needed a big patience to finish the assignment
hehe

7: Technology and The Teaching of Reading: Comics Authoring
In this meeting, I learned about
teaching reading with the technology by making a comics and through hot
potatoes tools. Actually, I did not read the whole material because at that
time I had a lot of activities and assignments, so it makes me a bit difficult
to understand the assignment. However While making the comics, we don’t find
any trouble. However, there is no one in my group understood the assignment
instruction, so I tried to read it one by one but not really in detail and I
understood it.It was a new knowledge for me, because I did not know about hot
potatoes before this course.
Meeting 8: Technology-Assisted Writing Activities
After learning about technology in
teaching reading, then I learned to teach writing using technology. I and my
group made a collaborative writing through Google docs and recorded it during
we were typing our writing. Then, uploaded it on YouTube.
Meeting
9: Teaching Speaking: Using Video Conference
In this meeting, we practiced what
teaching speaking using technology. RIGHT! It still the same theme as before
which is about teaching an English skills using technology. The assignments
was, I and my team should make an online video conference and we talked about
our prespective during this online learning. Surprisingly, we had the same
prespective about this online learning.
Meeting 10: Teaching Listening: Making Use of Podcasting
In this meeting, the theme still the
same as before which was about teaching a certain skills using technology. In
this meeting I and my team needed to make a podcast about culture then we
posted in on our soundcloud. I think it was so much fun!
Meeting 11: Lesson Planning
In this meeting, the theme has been
changed guys >.< It was about lesson plan. Well, I have made a lesson
plan by myself in other subject during this semester so I think it was not really
difficult because I made it with my group and we used a tools from the lecturer
which was an online generator that helped us to make a lesson plan. It was really
nice!

12: Class Management
Class management is a skill that a
teacher should have because if teacher does not have this skills the teaching
and learning process will be messy. I also learned about some tools which can
be used to deliver the material, share information, share files, etc.Thus, I
got an assignment to share my idea relating to the tools that can be used to
deliver the material in a form of google docs.
Meeting 13: Self-Directed Professional Development
Finnaly! This was my last meeting in this course. In this meeting, I learned about self-directed professional development. I also learned about the tools that available on the internet that assist self-directed professional development. Then, the assignment was I should join a TESOL/TEFL forum in Social Media and I found it on Facebook then I leave my comment on the post and take a screenshoot of it.
That's all my daily journal during CALL courses, I felt gratefull that I can passed this course and choose this class.
